The Picasso Foundation Birthplace Museum was created with the objective to study and to promote the works and the figure of Pablo Picasso. Its head office is Pablo Picasso’s birthplace, at No. 15 in the Plaza de la Merced in Málaga.
The "Casa Natal" or birthplace of the famous Spanish artist has been an official heritage site since 1983. The building houses works and personal belongings of the artist and his family. A specialized library and an on-going program of temporary exhibitions and cultural activities complement the offer of Picasso's Birthplace Museum.
