What to expect

Climb to the top of the iconic Arnolfo Tower and admire the panoramic view of Florence. Listen along to an audio guide as you uncover the tower’s history.

Designed by Arnolfo di Cambio, the tower is over 700 years old and stands at 95 metres tall – an important defence feature to see enemies. It was also a jail at times, and you can still see the rooms where Cosimo de Medici and Savonarola were imprisoned.

When you reach the top after 233 steps, enjoy the incredible view of Florence. Take unforgettable snaps of the city skyline and the rolling hills of Tuscany.

  • Please note that to reach the top, you must climb 233 uneven steps. This experience is not recommended for people who are pregnant, have limited mobility, claustrophobia or vertigo

Know in advance:

  • This experience includes an e-ticket, which will be available for download and sent via WhatsApp within 24 hours of your travel date
  • Scan the QR code on your voucher to download the audio guide before arrival. Please bring your own headphones
  • Children ages 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 5 years of age are not permitted inside Arnolfo Tower
